MyHouseAlly Terms of Service

Welcome to MyHouseAlly, a home maintenance management application operated by MyHouseAlly, Inc. (“MyHouseAlly,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MyHouseAlly mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “App”).

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and use the App.

By using MyHouseAlly, you represent that you meet this requirement.


2. Description of the Service

MyHouseAlly provides tools to help homeowners organize and maintain their homes, including but not limited to:

• maintenance reminders and task scheduling
• home maintenance checklists and guidance
• appliance tracking and manual storage
• document and photo storage
• educational content, product suggestions, and videos
• estimated savings calculations
• optional connections with real estate professionals or home service providers

The information and recommendations provided by the App are general in nature and may not apply to every home, appliance, or situation.


3. User Accounts

When creating an account you agree to:

• provide accurate and current information
• keep your login credentials secure
• be responsible for all activity under your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

MyHouseAlly is not responsible for unauthorized account access resulting from your failure to safeguard login information.


4. User Content

The App allows you to upload content such as:

• photos
• appliance labels
• documents
• receipts
• warranties
• manuals
• notes or other home information

You retain ownership of your uploaded content.

By uploading content, you grant MyHouseAlly a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the App’s services.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload:

• is accurate
• does not violate laws or third-party rights
• does not contain harmful or illegal material


5. Home Maintenance Information Disclaimer

The maintenance reminders, task instructions, videos, product suggestions, and other content provided by MyHouseAlly are for informational purposes only.

MyHouseAlly does not provide professional maintenance, repair, inspection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, or safety services.

Before performing any repair, maintenance, or installation, you should evaluate the situation and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

Use of any information provided through the App is at your own risk.


6. Estimated Savings Disclaimer

The App may provide estimated savings calculations related to home maintenance.

These estimates are based on general assumptions and average cost data and are provided for illustrative purposes only.

Actual savings may vary significantly and are not guaranteed.


7. Affiliate Links

Some product recommendations within the App may include affiliate links, including links to Amazon or other retailers.

If you purchase a product through these links, MyHouseAlly may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

We do not guarantee product performance or suitability.


8. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may include links to third-party websites, videos, or services.

MyHouseAlly does not control or endorse these third parties and is not responsible for their content, services, or policies.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.


9. Realtor and Partner Relationships

MyHouseAlly may allow optional connections with real estate professionals, builders, or service providers.

These connections are provided for informational or marketing purposes only.

MyHouseAlly is not a real estate brokerage, agent, contractor, or service provider and does not participate in real estate transactions.

Any interactions between users and real estate professionals occur independently of MyHouseAlly.


10. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription.

Current pricing may include:

Essentials Plan
$4.99 per month, billed monthly and automatically renewing.

Additional plans may be introduced in the future.

By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing until you cancel.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account settings.

Unless otherwise required by law, partial-month refunds are not provided.


11. Permissions

The App may request device permissions, including:

• camera access for uploading photos or appliance labels
• push notifications for maintenance reminders
• email notifications for account updates

You may modify or revoke these permissions through your device settings at any time.


12. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

We may occasionally perform maintenance, updates, or improvements that temporarily affect service availability.


13. Data Backup Responsibility

While MyHouseAlly stores uploaded documents and information, you are responsible for maintaining backup copies of important records.

MyHouseAlly is not responsible for loss of user-uploaded data.


14. Intellectual Property

All App content, design, code, and functionality are the property of MyHouseAlly, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reverse engineer the App without permission.


15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the App.

Users may stop using the App or delete their account at any time.


16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyHouseAlly, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

This includes but is not limited to damages related to:

• property damage
• home repairs or maintenance
• reliance on App guidance
• product purchases
• lost data
• service interruptions

Your use of the App is at your own risk.


17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyHouseAlly, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• your use of the App
• your uploaded content
• your violation of these Terms


18. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Utah under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.


19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.


20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, we will notify users through email or in-app notice.

Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
